Go on - admit it - you have fallen off your chair in shock for I am here!
For the uninitiated “here” is courtesy of the simply delightful & very much loved Julia who hosts the weekly worldwide blog hop over at
which gives us bloggers the opportunity to see what fellow crafty artists have on their desks
Bit of a challenge as I am attempting this Workdesk Wednesday business from my iPad having little desire to power up my laptop.
So, what is on my desk?
A whole heap of not very much as I have had to put away all my messy & grungy mixed media stuff in order to make a very crisp & clean wedding card
All pretty straightforward really - everything cut out (well, almost) & ready to assemble.
Annoyingly I have just spotted the two folders behind the jam-jar-water-pot - they are podiatry nephew’s patient notes that he has me typing up for him & which will be done on the laptop - so answers on a postcard as to why I continue to try to blog from the iPad - DUH!!!
Julia likes it short & sweet so will not ramble on - I did spend a lovely weekend at workshops near Lincoln & the projects & story are in the post below this one for anyone interested.
So Happy WOYWW’ing everyone!
I love the colour scheme you have chosen. Must be the start to your crafting time as your cup of coffee is still full lol

Good luck with the crisp and clean wedding card, hoping it gets done and is on its way (along with the podiatry notes) so you can get back to your mixed media.
ReplyDeleteLovely to see you on here again, it's good seeing an old friend again.
Hugs, Neet 8 xx
Yay, Debbie!! It's so good to see you on the desks again xx. I like the makings of that wedding card, you can't go wrong with butterflies I reckon. The workshop looked such fun and I love what you created - in fact, I was rearranging the JanCave shelves the other day and admiring my pieces by you!

Great to see you here again Debbie. I do like the elements you have in readiness for the wedding card. I can't get to grips with an iPad so stick to my trusty laptop at all times lol. Happy belated WOYWW. Sarah #1
ReplyDeleteHow absolutely lovely to see you! I cant blog from my iPad without using an app, i just cant get blogger to let me access all areas. It’s a good app though, and I do use it most of the time...far too idle to actually walk to the PC!! Loo at all those card elements, you really are a gifted collage effected. Liking the cut and emboss folders too..I don’t know how but I have managed to not buy any of those, how useful! It will be a lovely card. Makes my heart warm to see the spanner. I have my Mum’s wooden spoons in the kitchen, probably the best legacy ever!
ReplyDeleteThe disassembled wedding card looks intriguing, hope you can share the finished version soon! Have a great week, Lindart #22
