WOYWW 133

Nothing on my workdesk YET ... fully plan on starting on my list of cards for 2012 and as the first birthday is on 3rd Jan I need to get going!
So all I can post for today's WOYWW is hubby's Christmas card.  The pine-cone die for my Vagabond finally arrived (shame on you Royal Mail!!!) but, of course, simply "running it through the Vagabond" does not necessarily mean I could then make the bloomin' things!  Severely burnt fingers from the glue-gun and a few missing "petals" from the cones but I managed to make three that were kinda, sorta ok and not too bad once covered in brown sparkles!  Is it called  Sparkles?  I don't think it is ... oh, silly Debbie - it's Stickles!

  10. Sorry I am posting by pasting the same to everyone …I hate to do this but it saves on energy that I lack and time, as I am a slow typer.
THANK YOU so much for your good wishes …they cheered me up so much. I will up date you all on my health issues after the festive break but at least my balance problems have sorted them selves out and I think I shall be well enough to enjoy the Festive Holiday break. I enjoyed reading your post as I always do.

  11. Hi Bette,
Thanks for your reply to me. Yes there is only one of me.( Hubby would slit his throat if he thought there were two of me out there!Lol.) will look up the supplier you gave me as not seen that one before. You should be able to get to my blog by clicking on my name by any comments I leave you. I have just tried it on the comment I left above and it works but I know blogger is doing funny things st present. I have 9 blogs ( out of the 250)I'm following that don't show up in my reading list one day and then they suddenly reappear only to go again the next time I log in. Hugs The one and only Mrs A.

  12. You might like to pop back to my blog and read about yet another scam which seems to be doing the rounds (we have just been called from them), just when we are up to our eyes in last minute preparations. Have a lovely Christmas.

  13. Hi there Debbie thanks so much for popping over. So very sorry Mr blogger would not let you play (comment) at my house - have had that issue on Eileen's blog.
Re the cones think they look just fine! actually seen a thing on assembling cones and she coloured her's a little differently n the paper to give varying shades and moulded the cone piece with a the pointy end of a scorer to make them shape nicely and look more natural can hunt the tutorial out if you are interested - she actually cut thee piece with a circle scallop Spellbinder die too which is cheaper if you have one of them! - love the card and a Happy WOYWW! and thanks for being a blessing to me through 2011.
All the blessings of the season as we celebrate the birth of the dear Lord Jesus and the greatest Gift of all, love Shaz in oz. x #20

  17. Hello Debbie, just popping in late to say I've really enjoyed visiting your blog, and admiring your handiwork throughout the year. It's been fun getting to know you, virtually that is :) Your husband's card is gorgeous. I have decided that I won't be trying to make a Christmas card a week in 2012 because there are so many other projects I need to find time for - so I'll start around July instead. Good luck with yours and I wish you and yours a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. Elizabeth x #46

  19. Omg I had to enlarge and get my glasses to read your blog...now I do feel old!! I love the line ones, goodness, they look perfect from here and nature rarely is, huh. Typical though, that the making is never as easy as it looks!
I'm a late visitor, but not so late I can't wish you a Happy Christmas!

  21. Thanks for your visit today, even though you have not blogged this week. Your Christmas card to us was lovely, and is in pride of place. I am just ready to start finding my room to start on the cards for 2012, including Christmas cards (a few each month until I empty the Christmas boxes).
