Short and sweet this week because I either need another pair of hands or more hours in the day please. This will please the wonderfully, fabulous Julia of The Stamping Ground fame no end as she does encourage short and sweet WOYWW posts. Fellow bloggers can pop along to visit fellow crafters desks HERE - it is very addictive though so you have been warned!
Just a few specific bits and bobs out today making a couple of cards.
No time now but will take photo's of finished cards and come back here and edit this post later!
Went on Saturday to a workshop run by Sally-Ann Haynes (Sazzle) and learnt the tarmac technique!
Can't wait to try it again.
More on this later too ... or I will do a separate blog post just for this!
Happy WOYWW'ing xXx
Your mirror was absolutely fabulous, all the more as we were both panicking somewhat until we got going. xx Maggie (not finished posting my blog yet today)

Haha a clean and tidy desk, just a few inks, then suddenly tadaaaa! A fantastic frame! Looks good :) And the tags are just asking to be stamped on!

I think the Tarmac technique sounds interesting, it certainly gives a great finish to the artwork. Will you do another one, do you think?
ReplyDeleteHope you are ok :-)
Hugs, LLJ 12 xx
I'm with Neesie gal, if you find the answer, I'd love you to share! The jury is out for me on the Tarmac technique...it's very clever, but I'm not sure about the finish yet. I see Margaret has been trying to colour hers a bit...mind, what you both made at the workshop is fab.
ReplyDeleteNice to see that you start on a tag and with DInks....you are so good at the style. I wonder if you have enough shades of wee wee inks?!
Gosh, that mirror turned out amazing! Love peaking at your desk :)

The Tarmac Mmm interesting I like the effect it's very 'flat' and is a contrast to all the shiney blingy stuff might google that .... As for the time thing I wish I knew the answer too
