WOYWW 127

SLR = Stress Levels Rising!!!!!
Oh the joy of having too much time on your hands is you never have enough time to do all you want.
The box on my worktable contains all my Christmas crafting inspiration and mojo ... well, it must be in there because it sure as heck isn't in me right now!  To be fair I have been sewing, sewing, sewing into the wee small hours but really do need to teach my hands how to do different things at the same time ... thought us women were supposed to be able to multi-task - Oh, that doesn't mean sewing with my left hand whilst crafting with my right then?

Am planning on spending today getting as far as I can with the old sewing ... I changed tack and instead of completing one little tree-hanging-thingy and then doing another I have five on the go stitching all the red on each one and then all the green and then all the purple etc., but that could well just mean I have five half-finished three-hanging-thingies rather than one or two complete ones ... time will tell, I guess.
Speaking of time, must crack on ... think I have just managed to put Julia's blog on my list so I don't have to access it through MAGGIEC's blog each time and now need to see if I can add myself to the WOYWW page for this week ... failed miserably last week and Maggie did it for me!  Here's hoping!  X

  1. ohooo tidiness!! Can we swap!!??! I'm still doing last weeks woyww too! Put Julia's blogg in your book marks or favourites, move it to the top if you have loads to you can get to it easy, open another tab/window or page, and than you don't have to go hunting as its always there...under the page you're commenting on, you can just click back to it....of course it does mean you have loads of windows open, so don't forget to close them afterwards! Have a great week, Happy WOYWW ((Lyn))) #66

    I love the idea of keeping your mojo in a box. I may even purchase one just for the job!

  8. SLR!! Oh yes they are!! Busy, busy, busy and that's just at work! I'm too burnt out when I get home to focus on anything for more than five minutes so nothing is getting done! I can't believe how empty that desk is with the little box on it, reminds me of Pandora's box! Go on, open it if you dare!!

  10. Totally ran out of time this week to do a WOYWW so just doing my midnight snoop now of other desks!!!. Know how you feel about the sewing. I'm in the middle of making two cloth advent calendars and now my daugther has just requested can I please make her a 'Shelf Elf' for my grandson by Dec 1st. Apparantely the grown ups are supposed to hide the elf around the house each day of December for the children to find! New one on me!!! Hugs Mrs A.

  11. What a lovely box. Multi tasking is fine if different parts of the brain are working but with crafting I find it hard to do more than one thing.... must learn to use the machine I got last xmas ...life and other crafts just get in the way.

  15. Hooting with laughter here - like you I often get to the point of thinking I'll have a half finished production line rather than some fully finished items :) I came here myself so don't know if you managed to link to WOYWW. Remember, if Maggie is unavailable I'm always happy to help too! Di xx

  16. If you look online, there are literally thousands of free designs that will work on your Wishblade, including frames for your toppers, and even whole Christmas cards. If you download and install the latest software from the Silhouette web site, that will bring you up to date, and able to fully use your machine. Give me a call sometime.
