WELCOME to my little arty world! Trying to make art is a huge part of my life ... love nothing more than messing around with inks and sprays and generally making a mess!

Note to self ...

Have bought myself a notebook and am writing out 1000 times ...
I MUST make FLAT Christmas cards
I MUST make FLAT Christmas cards
I MUST make FLAT Christmas cards

Get it?  Yeah right!  So how come every idea I've had thus far (not that I have yet given it a great amount of thought) is for cards with sticky-uppy bits that will incur the horrendous LARGE stamp postage rate - which is ok when you only have one or two cards to send but not when I need to post everso many!

So, here I go again ...
I MUST make FLAT Christmas cards

  2. Yes, good idea, make "flat" Christmas cards. You could do some good old embossing for a slightly raised effect :) and/or wrap some ribbons around somewhere ... keep it flat, though :)

  3. Too funny, Debbie! It is so hard to go against your instinctive design style! How about those fabulous box cards that lie flat for mailing but have unbelievable 3D when opened? That's a lot of work, however. People understand about the postage. Just make them a "large stamp" birthday card, but it's flat for those Christmas cards for everybody!! Enjoy the weekend!!
